Double Ball Roulette from Unibet – your How To Play guide

Double Ball Roulette – learn how to play this interesting spin on the traditional game

Double Ball Roulette eh? If you find that playing Roulette with one ball is getting a bit passe, then why not try two balls? Thats right, using a modified Roulette Wheel, this form of the game uses two balls per game. As you can imagine this alters the way that you bet, so make sure you are aware of this.

On the whole, bets placed in Roulette fall into two groups. These are Inside bets and Outside Bets. In normal Live Roulette you win if the ball lands on your bet.

With Double Ball Roulette, this is slightly different. And whats even better is that the Outside bets have a massive win enhancement.

Inside Bets

Straight Up – this is when you place your chip directly on a number.

Split Bet – when you place your chip on a line between two numbers.

Street Bet – placing your chip at the end of a row covers off the three numbers in that row.

Corner Bet – place your chip on the intersection of four numbers to cover all four numbers.

Line Bet – place your chip at the end of the row on the intersection to cover all six numbers.

To win in Double Ball Roulette, at least one of the balls has to land on your Inside bet. If both balls land then you win is doubled.

Outside Bets

Column Bet – place your chip at the end of a column to cover off all 12 numbers in that column. This pays out at 8:1.

Dozen Bet – placing your chip in one of the boxes marked “First 12”, “Second 12” or “Third 12” will cover all those numbers. This also pays out at 8:1.

Red, Black or Red/Black – placing your chip on any of these covers off all the colours that you select. In the case of Red/Black, one ball has to land on Red and one on Black for you to Win. Both balls on Red or Black pay out at 3:1. One Red and one Black pays out at evens

Odd/Even – Placing your chip on either Odd or Even covers off all the numbers selected. This also pays out at 3:1

1-18 and 19-36 Placing your chip covers off all the numbers selected accordingly. This pays out at 3:1

For Outside Bets both balls have to land on the bet you have placed for the win to be paid. For example if you bet on Red, then both balls have to land on a Red number for you to win.

General Play and Placing a bet

So that is the main difference between normal Roulette and Double Ball Roulette. In this version the chip value starts at 25p and goes up to a whopping £8000. Simply place your chip (or chips) where you think the ball will land. Depending on their final resting place and your choice of bet will determine whether you win or not.

To make it easier to work out what you are betting on, the Outside Bets are coloured Gold. These are the ones where both balls have to land in winning positions. Additionally the table uses a Traffic Light system so let you know when you can bet. When the bar above the graphics is Green, you can bet, when it is Yellow betting is about to end. Obviously when the bar is Red, then no bets can be placed until the next round.

Double Ball Roulette uses an enhanced table

As you can see from the above picture, the Double Roulette Wheel has been slightly amended. Instead of the Dealer spinning the balls manually, both are placed into a tube. When it is time to play, the Dealer presses a button to release the balls. The balls always go in the same direction and at the same speed until they come to rest on a (hopefully winning) number.

You can change the value of your chips by clicking on the coloured chips at the bottom of the screen. Make sure that you are playing with a chip value you are comfortable with! Remember that even though there are two balls, you are only paying per chip, per game.
